Anyway, gotta thank Felicia, Kok Loong, Khai Bin, Siew Ee, Luwen for having dinner with me before I go NS. Here are the photos!

Finally the group photo! YJC Tennis 2008!!

Although it is not really glamorous to be in YJC for 3 years, these 3 years are really fun mainly because of the wonderful team. Working as a team is really different from going into a club. Thanks peeps for letting me enjoy my stay at YJ! Kudos to Samuel for being a nice captain and a really good friend :) accompanying me to go back to school or play tennis during these few months. Good Luck for A Div!!

YJC Tennis 2006!

Team 2006 again!

YJC Tennis 2007 (Look at the quality... Now you know why I wanna retake?)

16 more days...

16 more days to NS.... omg... anyway, I wanted to view the class website I created during my sec school days. However I noticed that the website is gone and I tried to retrieve it from the internet archive. These are the only few photos I managed to recover:

Here we have Dorine, Annabel, Siew Ee, Kok Loong, Wan Ching and Kah Ling

Chiong Siong, Wai Sheng (he give that type of face -__- act guai), Me (OMG!!!), Khai Bin

Li Qiang, Patrick, Terence (haha, he is going to kill me if he see this), Kenneth

Dhapanie (sp?), Bernice, YenTing, Wan Yi, Luwen

Ruziyah (sp?), Serene, Shi Hui, Ling Hui

You Qin and Jessica!

I think there are 3 more photos missing... I will be trying to find ways to get it. Will be asking Chiong Siong whether he have any backup for the website. Anyway, the missing photos should be Felicia's group, Wei Hong's group, Rushida's group. Hopefully I can find it. Looking at these photos brings back good memories and there are a couple of things I regret not doing. It is interesting how you look back in the past and reality slams right into your face, telling you that you have missed your last bus and there is no more chance. I am gonna go NS soon and hopefully into a Uni. There is no way I can ever get back the feeling of stepping into class and studying with my friends ever again.....( -___-)......(>_<).... getting emo... Well. That's it for now. I doubt I will be posting on this blog frequently unless I am freaking bored. ByeBee!

the beginning

hm... Seriously I have no idea why I am blogging. I used to think that blogs are a waste of time. Note the word "used to". Although I still find blogging useless, I am blogging for another reason: fear.

What am I so fearful of?

Have you ever thought about the past and said "omg, I only remember my sec 4 teacher... hm... who is she... what did she do? Damnit! I’ve forgotten almost everything I have done!” I am afraid of forgetting these people I have met and made an impact in my life. Like what Mr. Wong has said, "Maybe you can’t see the dots now. However, in the future, when you think about the past, everything will connect together nicely." I want to be able to remember everything after a few years, if possible, until my death bed...

( -___- ) sian... think so far

so here am i, 12/10/07. My first post, my last day as a YJCian. People say that time passes so quickly. And they are so damn right. One minute I am in YJC 2005 as the first 3 month intake in T26. The next I am an Ex-YJCian. Hm... Of course A levels in 2 weeks time (study!!!!). I remembered when I found out that I have to repeat my year 1, I was telling myself "now I am going to go through the same thing all over again for 1 more year". Boy was I wrong. 103, 2006 is totally different. I was really lucky that I got really great classmates and super tutors.

Mr Wong ---> AKA Check, Frosty, Mr Check. Our CT for 2 years. Always calm and patient ( although I saw your other side in Thailand (>_<) v ) You are not just the chem tutor and CT, you are the one who shared your life experience, gave me advices and most importantly the super glue that paste the whole class together, making my 2 years worth it. As a CT, you strike the balance between strict and relax. Giving us enough space to breathe while not letting us go overboard. As a teacher mentor in my project group, you are constantly helping and teaching us. Although we didn’t manage to get Gold, you accepted the fact and urged us to move on with life. I will never forget the time when we have to hid in the container class room to do our report and presentation. That is one of the craziest thing I’ve done in my life =). As a teacher leading my group to Thailand, you are the MAN. You took care of us, managing all the minor stuff like clean water, cleaning the giant spiders and bugs in the toilet and conducting the dreaded debriefing. You taught me that things do not usually go the way I want and to face it like a man. No amount of thanks can suffice. My only way of expressing my thanks is to remember you forever as someone that changed my life. =)

Mr Francis Tan ---> Why must you go? >_< did you know that you set the standard for math teachers so high that no one can replace you after you left? You taught math with humor and style. You made math easy and you set high but realistic goals. I was never hesitant in approaching you with math problem I never get to thank you properly for making my first year a breeze.

Ms Koh ---> someone's getting married soon~~~ wheeee..... Must show us a photo of your high pants, bicycle ridding boyfriend ok? (^_^) Don’t worry about what other people say about you. You are a fantastic teacher. Other teachers say that spoon feeding is bad for students and a good teacher teaches a student to be independent. While that is true, I feel that the BEST teachers adapt to the students. To be able to change your teaching method to suit different type of students and not just following guidelines, I believe that is something the BEST teacher should have and you are not far away from it. Even though you may be pursuing other things in the future, I want you to know that even though you are in hell sometimes, there are always sweet memories that will elevate your pain and surviving this hell will make you an even greater person. Thank you!

Mr Sami ---> GP is boring. Seriously. Nothing is more boring than reading the entire content notes so that you can have solid examples to use in your essay. However you tried to make GP lessons interesting and your patience with us never failed to impress me. You opened my eyes and showed me to view things from different perspectives and when I thought that my essay is good enough, you always give me suggestions to improve my essay. Your effort was not gone unnoticed - the countless reminders, squeezing every minute of the time available, thinking of different ways to conduct lessons- all these touched me and I am glad to have you as my GP tutor!

Of course there are other tutors that taught me: Mr Wong Yih Chong the fatherly figure, Mr Oh, my first year Chem tutor will never stop encouraging me, Mrs Sarah Tan, my first year tutor who cared for me even when I am not in her class anymore, Mdm Lee, who never give up on my pathetic econs grades, Mrs Kwang, who tortured me with her homework.

To all my tutors, once again, I express my gratitude. Through my journey, you are my shoes, supporting and carrying me to my dreams.

Next I would like to thank my dearest CTG 203. If my life is a drawing block, you are the color pencils that made my life so colorful and beautiful.

Evangeline: Show your emo side! Let your hair cover one of your eyes. You look prettier that way. Trust me! >_^

Elgiva: Go Bra! Reach out for the stars~~~ although we seldom talk in class, I got to know you a lot better during the class chalet. Hope you can get your PhD in sleeping soon!

Shi Wee: Thailand Product =D muhaha... joking... Thank you for organizing most of the class activities and taking charge of things that people don’t want to do.

Micduck: Save money~ How on earth did you do so well for your tests? Tell me your secret please....

Yoggie: The sweat man... Continue to work hard and may wish you all the best with your GF ^_^

Issaacc: Yes, I spell your name wrongly :) must learn to relax at times ok? You are such a fun guy to be with. Oh, and your singing doesn’t sound that bad. "Where is the moment we needed the most~"

Chun Hao: Hm... I seldom talk to you but I wish that you will be happy with your Gf forever :)

Han Wei: Another one that I seldom talk to... Wish you and Aik Hong can be happy together!

Jerome: Yo dude, everytime see you with girls, don’t be such a lady's man! A lot of things happened but I am sure you are happier now. Remember to stay this way!

He Hua: FLASH STEP LVL 99!! Stop playing games le. Buck up! Hehe... Thanks for seating next to me and keep up to my constant pestering. Must score well hor!!

Finally, these are the few people I want to thank especially...

Jasmine: You must talk more! At first I thought you are a very quiet person, but I saw another side of you during Elementz. Let everyone else know what a wonderful person you are! Thank you for working together to finish the science project and keeping up to my nonsense.

Kulun: It's very fun to work with you. We can just sit at KFC or anywhere and gossip for hours! Thanks for lending me your DS and being one of the first few friends I made when I entered this class.

Marcus: You are the other few friends I made when I got into this class. You are a great friend and you made the class livelier. Don’t worry. We will always be friends =)

Wei Ji: Yo Mushroom, thanks for inspiring me to learn the guitar and like Kelun, we can gossip all day too. You are fun to be with although you can be pretty lame sometimes. ATTENTION SEEKER!! muhaha

Last but not least, Marilyn and Yun Jie. I regretted not knowing you all earlier as you are such nice people to be with! Let’s hang out more after A levels. Thanks Maril for helping me find this template. (>_<)

In conclusion (sounds GPrrish), I also want to wish YJC tennis all the best! There are a lot of people I haven't mention but I have been typing for 2 hours already and I am really tired =( (and I need to shower soon). Pretty long for a first post eh? Lets hope that this memory can stay with me forever. =)
